Potential main characters
Plague Doctors
The concept of the plague doctor feels as though it lends its self to a strong main character, with the distinctive dark look and unique costume he will stand out as a character and in a scene.
As it was believed that sickness was caused by evil spirits this also feels like a main feature of the story,when people sneezed and opened there mouth this gave the spirit an opportunity to enter the body and death would shortly follow.
the "pocket full of posies" was there to ward of these spirits, this theme of possession and the inability for a spirit to posses someone with these attached to there lapel feels like another major theme for a potential animation
