playing with 3D effects and trying to piece together how to make one of the main elements of my animation
falling snow, as mentioned i was thinking of having something like this falling from behind the bird, i could change the colour to black so it look more like a sot or disease falling from the sky
playing with a simple 3D cube and paning a camer over this was done to test if i could make a city and what effect i may be able to acheive
this is a bunch of clouds i created, i was thinking either the birds could fly through this or it could also emit from behind the birds, if i tone down the intensity it also gives me a great fog type effect for the establishing shot of my city or true clouds when i pan over the city

a quick go at creating a landscape flyover, now i have learnt this I'm wondering if the evil part of my animation need to be vulture....could it just be an abstract black cylindrical almost liquid like form (will try to make a demo video tomorrow.)
