New Thoughts

After sketching and some illustrator work today I feel like I have rushed into the style of animation that i would like to use, it all feels to expected and like I'm not pushing the envelope far enough, so after lots more searching and research i found this

This has been created in after effects, I love how its more abstract, it tells a simple story but does it in a stylized way. the thing I like the most is the colour pallet and the lack of black outlines on the objects it seems soft and conveys emotions through colour, I now want to push my story further and get it to the point where I can animate it like this, i need to find what that semi 3d effect he was woring with in after effects as that seems to be whats given him all the true stand out scenes.
